Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
Pick up from a Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, met and transfer to Masai Mara the land of the Maasai tribe. for lunch. After lunch enjoy evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at: Mwangaza Tented camp or Sentrim Mara Camp
Day 2: Game drive in Masai Mara
After breakfast go for a morning game drive. After lunch return for an evening game drive All meals and overnight at Mwangaza Tented camp or Sentrim Mara Camp
Day 3: 2nd Game in Masai Mara
Early rise in readiness for the transfer to the balloon launch site at 05.30. 06.00 Take off and after approximately 01 hours flight, land and enjoy a bush breakfast with a splash of champagne. Afterwards, transferred back to the camp, game viewing en route. After lunch in the evening Enjoy another game drive in the reserve.
Day 4: Check out from Masai Mara and transfer to Lake Nakuru
After early breakfast start with a morning game drive in the reserve, en-route to the gate. later transfer to lake Nakuru for your lunch and check in. – After lunch go for an evening the game drive in the park, in search for lions, rhinos, leopards and cheetahs and more other animals. Lake Nakuru is famous for its millions of flamigoes and migrant birds from over the world, and about 425 bird species recorded here.Dinner and Overnight at: Lake Nakuru Chester Hotel
Day 5: Nakuru – Jinja
Day 6: Check out and drive to Kibale National park (The primate Capital)
Your driver guide will be positioned at your accommodation to meet. greet and ready to depart west to Fortportal, the town rests in the shadow of the Fabled ” mountains of the moon. continue to KIBALE NATIONAL PARK – check in and have lunch. Day 7: Morning chimp tracking- Afternoon bigodi Swamp walk or whale day Chimpanzee Habituation experience;
After an early breakfast, you will either go for normal Chimp tracking or Chimp habituation The morning is characterized with birds and primate viewing including Chimpanzee. Kibale forest is a home to 13 primate species. Walking is not difficult as paths have been made in the forest and all walks are in company of excellent local guides. The other primates that you may see include among others; – Gray Cheeked Mangabeys, Red-tailed Monkey, Olive Baboon, Black and White Colobus, vevet monkeys etc. You may also encounter other forest mammals like the forest Elephants, duikers and various bird species during the walk. Day 8: kibale N Park and drive to Bwindi Via Ishasha sector
After an early Breakfast, drive out southwards via the Ishasha sector in such for the tree climbing lions . this sector is famous for the tree climbing lions. After a short drive around continue to Bwindi. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Rest camp
Day 9: Gorilla trekking day - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
The highlight of your safari; meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi! Expect to walk in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. But it will definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience! Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Rest camp
Day 10: Check out and Transfer to kisoro
Day 11: Golden monkey Trekking, – Discover the traditions of the Batwa Pygmies
After enjoying an early breakfast, driver to the park headquarters for briefing, then with a ranger guide move through the bamboo forest in search of the rare Golden monkeys, endemic to this region. Have lunch and in the afternoon discover the traditions of the Batwa Pygmies, and learn about the native tribal inhabitants of the forest. The indigenous people of Mugahinga forest, though no longer resident in the forest, still practice many of their traditional hunter-gatherer skills, also meet medicine men, story tellers as well visit the cultural sites of the Batwa and other performances in the Garama cave. Alternatively walk through the local village and learn about community projects. Back to you lodge for dinner and overnight at Travelers Rest Hotel.
Day 12: Check out and drive from Kisoro crossing the board line of Uganda through Rwanda to Lake kivu
After a morning breakfast – late transfer to Lake kivu. afternoon optional boat cruise on Lake Kivu Dinner and overnight at Paladis Malahide
Day 13:Transfer to Goma (DR Congo) and hike Nyiragongo Volcano mountain
Overnight stay Camping at the top of the volcano
Day 14: Descend from Nyiragongo Volcanic Mountain(it takes Approx 5hrs)
Transfer to kigali city. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Des Mille Collines / Hotel Chez Lando
Day 15: Morning Kigali city tour
Visiting genocide memorials later transfer to the Airport for your flight connection back home
