A 14-day safari that combines hiking and primate watching sounds like an amazing adventure! To plan such a trip, you’ll need to consider a few key factors such as the location, the specific primates you want to see, and the level of hiking difficulty you’re comfortable with. One destination that offers both hiking opportunities and primate watching is East Africa, particularly Uganda and Rwanda. These countries are known for their lush landscapes, diverse wildlife, and, in particular, their populations of gorillas and chimpanzees.
