Do i need a visa enter Uganda?

visa is required for US citizens to travel to Uganda as is a passport that will be valid for 6 months after your date of entry. Visas for Uganda can permit a single or multiple entry. How do i apply to get a visa to enter both Uganda and Rwanda?

  1. Submit an ONLINE application.( https://visas.immigration.go.ug/ )
  2. Must submit original passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel and past the date of your expected departure from Uganda.
  3. A Money Order of the correct visa fees (Single Entry = $50; Multiple entry = $100; East Africa Tourist Visa = $100).

How much is visa for Uganda or Rwanda?

With effect from July 1, 2015, visa fees for entry into Uganda have been revised as follows:
 
1. Single Entry Visa              US$50
2. Multiple Entry Visa           US$100
3. East Africa Toursist Visa   US$100
4. Gov’t officials                     No fee
5. Diplomatic Visa                  No fee

What is an East African tourist Visa?

A Person Eligible: Is a foreigner who wants to visit simultaneously the Republic of Kenya, Republic of Rwanda and Republic of Uganda for tourism. An East Africa Tourist Visa is multiple entries within the three countries and shall be valid for 90 days.

Do we require a travel insurance?

We strongly recommend that you take out all the necessary travel insurance if you are travelling to a country that you may not have to bear the full cost of any medical treatment. Travel insurance covering you for medical expenses and repatriation we do recommend

However , we can assist you with local insurance companies to cover health, baggage and any other insurance related issues.

Do i need vaccination for Uganda Safari?

Yes we do recommend that you get a Yellow fever vaccination before coming to East Africa for purposes of safety. Despite the fact that Uganda is free from Yellow fever it is a must that you present a yellow fever vaccination card upon arrival at theAirport

Can I use my Credit card, Visa Card, American Express, Paypal for payments?

Most of the BANKS in Uganda and other east African countries do have a provision of an ATM card machines, Visa and master cards and are accepted., while you can withdraw a limited amount of cash per day from These ATM machines.

Credit cards can be used only in major Hotels and Forex Bureaus

Traveller’s cheques are generally no longer accepted in Uganda

How do i pay for my Safari?

On confirmation with us your final itinerary, you are request to cover a minimum deposit 10% of your safari cost, and for Gorilla or chimp permits must be paid in full at the time of Booking. Accommodation, permit and activity reservation will be made ASA payments has been received on our account. The balance safari cost must be settled 30 days before the safari start date
