Chris

We recently returned from a three-week adventure in Uganda that started in Kigali, Rwanda. Andrew organized our trip and Michael was our driver and safari guide. This was not your usual safari trip as we packed in so many different things.

We incorporated many different types of activities from Mountain Gorilla Trekking at Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, big game drives in Queen Elizabeth, Kidepo and Murchison as well as boat tours of the Kazinga Chanel and the Victoria Nile. White water rafting on the River Nile in Jinga and many other side trips along the way.

We also visited U-TOUCH technology hubs (u-touch.org) in Mbale and Gulu as well as frequenting the colorful local markets all along our travel route. We had the opportunity to get to know the locals in a few different parts of Uganda and to experience their culture through music and dance festivities.

Andrew was very patient with us as our plans changed a few times along the way. He was able to give us options and aided in decision making to ensure we made it to the next destination on time. He was able to provide us with an alternate vehicle on short notice and really did an awesome job keeping the whole thing moving along.

Michael, our guide, was very knowledgeable and was great at spotting the animals on our game drives and along the road sides. He’s funny, witty and was a ton of fun to have traveling with us.

I would definitely not hesitate to recommend Primate Safaris Uganda to anyone wishing to tour beautiful East Africa. In fact, I’m already planning our next adventure to Tanzania and Kenya with them!
